WILMINGTON, Mass., Feb. 18, 2022 – 3STEP Sports, the nation’s largest youth sports club and event operator, is proud to announce that it is extending its partnership to run events and programming for the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) through 2025.
Since 2020, 3STEP Sports has run the NFHCA Winter Escape Showcase, the nation’s premier recruiting event held every January in Sanford, Florida. More than 100 teams and 200+ college coaches attend the Winter Escape, which is played on state-of-the-art all-turf and lighted fields at the Boombah Sports Complex in Sanford, Fla. The mantra of the elite event is “find your field hockey home.”
In addition, 3STEP runs special events throughout the showcase: the Uncommitted Showcase and the Goalkeeper and Shooter Showcases, while co-hosting free recruiting seminars and the Ready2Coach Clinic. The showcase also provides athletes with the opportunity to play on a house team coached by current NFHCA college coaches.
“We are excited to continue collaborating with 3STEP Sports on the NFHCA Winter Escape Showcase while adding the 3STEP Shooting Star Jamboree to our portfolio of supported recruitment events,” said NFHCA executive director Cate Clark. “Their next-level coach hospitality is unmatched in the field hockey event management space. Their shooter, goalkeeper, and uncommitted showcases, along with their tournament management execution, delivers a great platform for college recruitment.”
The 3STEP reach spans 40+ states and serves more than 3.1 million athletes across eight sports through industry-leading events, nationally spanning club programs, premier media content and more. The mission of 3STEP is to be the standard of the youth sports experience and create consistency in the industry.
